Findlay has formal training programs in place for all levels of employees. All new personnel at Findlay go through a five phase training program:

1. Introductory Orientation
2. Classroom
3. Mentor
4. On-The-Job
5. Quarterly Recap

To achieve the Findlay standard of service, Findlay has made a company-wide commitment to quality. Findlay invests significantly in ongoing staff training and development in the form of local and national training forums. Dedicated to ongoing improvement, all Findlay offices follow the same training programs and quality control procedures.

Each Findlay employee, regardless of position and/or rank, must undergo a specialized two-week training course on internal systems for the purpose of providing each client with first-class customer service and support. As part of this training, employees are shown the proper way to handle sensitive customer data. Annual follow-up training is also administered. Enforcement of these policies is managed through the use of regular “spot-checks” by departmental managers and authorized personnel.

Findlay’s production staff is full-time, dedicated moving professionals. Regardless of their experience prior to joining Findlay, they are required to undergo our 80-hour in-house training program before being certified as Findlay crew members. Furthermore, all production staff subsequently attends a mandatory two-day refresher seminar on an annual basis.  Finally, all Findlay crew members are subject to random drug test requirements.

Preparing household goods and specialized equipment for transport requires skill, special materials, and extra care and attention. All production staff have extensive training and a great deal of experience in specialized handling, packing, and crating techniques and materials to ensure that everything arrives at destination in the exact condition as at origin.

Findlay accepts responsibility for the complete satisfaction of its customers. Findlay exercises this responsibility through extensive training of its employees, adherence to proven procedures, total commitment to meeting and exceeding customer requirements, and to maintaining an organizational culture that fosters continuous improvement.
